Lamichhane scrapped from ‘The Hundred’

Lamichhane has been scrapped from playing in ‘The hundred’, where he was supposed to represent Oval Invincibles. As per his Facebook post, his visa was deemed to be active if he landed in the UK until 10th July, which he did on 9th. But on 18th July, just two days before the completion of his quarantine, he was told by England And Wales Cricket Board (ECB) that his visa wasn’t valid and was asked to leave the country as soon as possible.
He expressed his disappointment and asked ECB to look deep into the matter, so no other player has to face the same problem that he did. Lamichhane has now missed Pakistan Super League, Vitality T20 Blast, and The Hundred due to covid-19 protocols and visa issues.

Australia rested their stars players and regular captain Aaron Finch got ruled out due to a knee injury. So, Australia fielded as many as 3 debutants in the first ODI with their 26th ODI Captain, Alex Carey leading the side. Carey on his captaincy debut batted beautifully and was equally supported by his lead bowlers in Starc and Hazlewood to give Josh Phillipe, Wes Agar, and Ben Mc Demmet a victory on their debut.
But the Covid-19 positive to the non-playing staff of the West-Indies camp has suspended the 2nd ODI after the coin toss. Aussies were yet again set to debut their Tall lanky Fast Bowler, Riley Meredith in 2nd ODI.

Bangladesh buries Zimbabwe

England Topples Pakistan

England showed great squad depth as the new-look England side whitewashed Pakistan 3-O in the ODI series. England’s 1st team had to isolate due to Covid-19 cases just 2 days prior to the tournament. Meanwhile, Pakistan bounced back to win 1st T20I but England’s side was too good in the last two games and sealed a 2-1 series win.
