Privacy policy

Last updated: August 13, 2026

This notice explains what information this website and its connected services may process when you read an article, register as a reader, view advertising, or submit a comment.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics to understand which pages people visit and how they use the site. Google may process device, browser, approximate location, and interaction information and may set cookies. The analytics configuration requests IP anonymization. Google explains its data practices in the Google Privacy Policy.

Advertising

This site uses Google AdSense to display and measure advertising. Google and its partners may use cookies, device identifiers, IP addresses, and activity information to select, deliver, and measure ads. Depending on your location and the choices available to you, ads may use information from this site or from prior activity.

You can learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services on Google’s partner sites page. Google also provides advertising controls in My Ad Center.

Reader registration

This site uses Google Reader Revenue Manager to offer one-click registration on eligible articles. If you register with your Google account, Google shares your name and email address with Nirav Khanal so the site can recognize you as a registered reader.

Google manages the registration prompt and explains its handling of personal information in the Google Privacy Policy. You can decline the prompt.

Comments

When comment submission is available and you submit a comment, the comment service collects the name, email address, and comment you provide. It may also collect your IP address and browser information for moderation, spam prevention, and security. Your name and an approved comment may appear publicly. Your email address does not appear with the comment.

Embedded content

Some articles include videos or media from other websites. Those services may receive your IP address and browser information or set cookies when the embedded content loads. Their own privacy policies govern that processing.

Retention and the article archive

The site keeps approved historical comments with their original articles. The site owner may retain private moderation records when they support moderation, security, legal obligations, or the integrity of a published discussion.

Your choices

You can block or delete cookies through your browser and use the controls Google provides when a consent or registration prompt appears. You can read public articles without submitting a comment. Avoid including private or sensitive information in a public comment.

Articles may link to other websites. This site does not control how those websites collect or use information.

Policy updates

This policy may change when the site adds or removes services or when legal requirements change. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
